Overview & The Challenge
Diskominfo Makassar receives a consistently high volume of internship applications, which required a more centralized intake process. The goal of this project was to build a dedicated web portal to replace fragmented manual registration methods, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for both prospective interns and internal administrators.
My Role & Technical Approach
Working in a two-person team, I served as the Project Manager, Web Designer, and Full-stack Developer. I led the project planning and scope management, designed the entire web portal UI/UX, and spearheaded end-to-end full-stack development using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM.
Beyond design and project management, I architected complex registration form workflows from scratch. I prioritized logical UX patterns, strict form validations, unique-code authentication flows, and reliable PostgreSQL database integration to ensure the platform ran smoothly.
Disclaimer: The foundational source code and GitHub repository for this project have been officially handed over to the Diskominfo Makassar internal engineering team. They are currently leading the subsequent phases of development, server deployment, and long-term maintenance.
